Uzodimma honours late Senator Arthur Nzeribe - Names new hospital after him 

SENATOR FRANCIS ARTHUR NZERIBE MEMORIAL GENERAL HOSPITAL OGUTA - Commissioned by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

"We will provide those things that will elongate the lives of the people" ~ Uzodimma.
An ultra-modern 42-bed hospital was today commissioned in Oguta by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (CON).

While naming the hospital in honour of the late Senator Francis Authur Nzeribe, the Governor described the late sage as a great leader and a great politician and philanthropist of note who opened the path for others to follow.
Governor Uzodimma disclosed that the hospital was built through the 13% derivation due to Imo State for the oil-producing communities.
He lamented the plight of the oil-producing communities, which he attributed to the old leadership vacuum that was unable to translate the natural endowment of the area into wealth to make the people happy.

While reiterating his commitment to change the narrative, Governor Uzodimma assured the people that he would make sure that the 13% derivation is used for the people it was meant for; "And the people must see evidence that what God gave to them are a credit and advantage and not a deficit and disadvantage"

Uzodimma harped on the need for peace and unity saying that, "love for one another should govern our collective existence"

He appealed to youths to embrace the new world order which is about creative thinking and skills. He assured that his government would re-awake the enterprise spirit of the youths for which the Igbo man is known. " I know in my conscience that any nation that is not interested to provide, sufficiently, for the welfare and upbringing and development of their youth population is in trouble"

The Governor promised to provide those things that will elongate the lives of the people.

The Governor was accompanied by top government officials. 

Others who witnessed the event include Chief Mrs Joan Nzeribe, the wife of late Arthur Nzeribe, Senator Osita Izunaso, Chief Ozichukwu Chukwu, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, Chief George Egu, Hon Eugene Dibiagwu and a host of others.
