Federal Government Approves Imo State Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone
Governor Hope Uzodimma has announced the approval of Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone for Imo State by President Mohammadu Buhari.

"While addressing the congregants after the Holy Eucharistic celebration at the Government House Chapel today, I  expressed gratitude on the support my administration has received so far from ndi Imo.

"These supports have been instrumental to the feats recorded so far. One of which I had the pleasure of announcing, at the Chapel, its flag off by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
"I commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his gracious approval of Oguta / Ohaji Egbema as an Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone, given the large gas deposit around the region.

"As Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visits the State on 11th of May 2023 to flag off the dredging of Oguta / Orashi waterways, we are prepared for the visit as much as ready to build on the gains of this project for the economic benefit of all.
