Determined to take its shared prosperity Agenda to the grassroots, Imo State Government through the office of the Special Adviser Political matters toured Isu Local Government Area on Tuesday 13th April 2021, where he interacted the people and also inaugurated the Prosperity ambassadors for LGA.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters opined that Isu LGA is a critical and important stakeholders in Gov Uzodimma administration. He disclosed this at Isu Local Government Secretariat Multi- Purpose Hall during the well attended visit christened Grassroots sensitization and Shared Prosperity Tour aimed at enlightening and sensitizing  the people on the activities of the Government as well as drumming their support and cooperation.
Dr. Batos Nwadike added that His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma started from nothing due to the fact that officials of previous administration absconded and did not hand over to him on assumption of office. Inspite of the odds the Governor remain firmed and undeterred.  He also emphasized that the Governor is a man with a large heart and has been going around DOING GOOD adding that he is not a man given to primitive acquisition of wealth. He told the people of Isu LGA that the Governor has started the construction of Owerri-Okigwe (54km) road and Owerri-Orlu (34km) road, pointing out that the roads when completed transverses 167 autonomous communities in Imo State. 
He also said the issue of corruption in our civil service is a monster that must be eradicated for Imo to move forward and Prosper . To this end, the Special Adviser urged Imo People to disregard the propaganda that salary and pension were owned which was initiated by opposition element and those who do not wish Imo People well.
Chief Cosmas Mmaduba (Odebube Isu Njaba) opined that the Governor has passion to selflessly work for the people while reemphasizing that the political leaders of the council area are in one page and very much loyal to the Shared Prosperity Government anchored on 3R Agenda.

The Special Adviser on Legal Matters Barr. Steve Nwoke charged Isu leaders to come out and be part of Gov Uzodimma Government because is the sure way to prosperity .

The Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture Chief Lambert Orisakwe thanked Dr. Batos for coming to Isu LGA and asked him to convey a message of appreciation to the Governor. He said that the decision of his people to vote Senator Uzodinma is a step in the right direction because Isu LGA has the highest number of appointees in this government. He said Isu people will remain grateful, supportive and loyal to the Governor for carrying them along in his Government. 


The House of Assembly member for Isu state constituency Hon. Chief Mrs. Ngozi Obiefule urged the people of her constituency to queue behind the administration of Governor Uzodinma so as to benefit from the numerous empowerment programs of the Government.

Hon. Kenneth Uka, the Interim Management Committee (IMC), Chairman expressed gratitude to the Special Adviser and his team for their wonderful messages of hope and the Governor's mission and vision in strict adherence to good and purposeful transformations.

He reiterated that the Isu LGA areas are 100% in support of the administration.

The SA Political at the well attended event, inaugurated Shared Prosperity Ambassadors for Isu LGA, charging them be apostles of the Gov. Uzodinma Administration in the area.
