The Minister of State for Petroluem Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva today attended the South East Gas Utilization Forum holding in Owerri.
Speaking at the occasion, Chief Sylva informed the participants that the President, Mohammadu Buhari is committed to the development of the gas sector, especially the role of gas in catapoulting the development of the South East.

According to the Minister, the South East is a region where an industrial miracle is waiting to happen. He called on the governors of the region to pay more attention to the unfolding policies in the gas sector.
The Minister insisted that the South East has a significant contribution to make in the quest for innovations that will use gas utilization to grow the Nigerian economy, and create jobs and take Nigerians out of poverty.
