Adviser To Imo Governor On Public Safety Visits Police Commissioner.
The Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor on Public Safety Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe today paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police Imo State Command.
The visit is part of the ongoing tour by the Special Adviser to military, para-military and security establishments in the state. 
While welcoming the Public Safety Adviser to his office, the Imo Police helmsman expressed delight hosting such a high ranking official of government. He assured of his determination and commitment with that of his command to continue to co-operate with the government and people of Imo State in the area of crime prevention and security of lives and properties.
Speaking on the visit, Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe said he was at the police command to interact with the Commissioner on the preparedness of the Imo Bureau of Public Safety to work closely with the Nigerian Police to secure public safety of citizens of the dtate.

According to him, responsibilities of enforcing laws, preventing crimes, responding to emergencies, and providing support services are shared responsibilities between the government and security organizations more especially the police, and it was this realization that necessitated his courtesy visit.
Hon. Prince Nzekwe commended officers of the Imo State Police Command for their untiring efforts to combat the incidence of kidnapping, human traficking, and armed robbery in the State.
Already the visits has taken the Special Adviser to the Army Command, the Federal Road Safety Commission, etc.
