A WORD FOR THE WISE~Kezie Ogaziechi
Public policy analysis is not an all comers game.
Respectable critics come with certain depth,  nobility, civility and and measured cant in language choices.
Government information managers carry a bigger burden by keeping it at a level of believability which can only be achieved by being factual, avoiding hurtful language and keeping it simple and on point.
Opposition communication is not an invitation to being rude,  trading insult and unwarranted resort to deployment of language of the gutter spine.
Such choices de-markets  the brand you are building.
Whatever views you intend to market can only secure buy in when issue based.
No laurels are won the moment we mix issues of critical importance with name calling or mud slinging.
Enlisting the hands of untamed and untutored minds to handle sensitive issues in public communication can be counter productive.
We must learn to stay on the path of best practices in analysis, playing the role of a critic and communicating government business.
There is no short cut. You are either doing it right or shooting your principal on the foot without knowing it.
Most of the things posted on some of the platforms are to say the least,  telling.
If you don't know how to do it, read and rest your fingers. The concept of market place of ideas in information contest should not be abused by individuals that take liberties to trade hate, vile, poor learning, jaundice and mischief.
Fellow room mates on platforms should be spared the mental terrorism antics that sound like the fillings of little minds.
Most Admins share personal relationship with respectable room mates and any exit might be misconstrued. If not,  most platforms would have been abandoned.~ By Kezie Ogaziechi.
